Frequently Asked Questions

What’s included in the $39.99/month LDA subscription?

Your monthly membership gives you ongoing access to LDA’s on-demand Latin dance training, including Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia foundations, technique breakdowns, musicality training, and structured practice guidance.

You’ll also have access to The LDA Collective, our private community space where members connect, ask questions, share progress, and stay motivated while training independently.

Is the $39.99 price permanent? What does “Founding Member” mean?

Yes — $39.99 is our Founding Member rate. As long as your subscription remains active, you keep this price even as LDA expands and the value increases.

If you cancel your membership, the Founding Member rate is released and may not be available again.

Is this beginner-friendly? Do I need a partner?

Yes — the LDA monthly subscription is beginner-friendly, and no partner is required. Most training is designed to be done solo, with clear explanations that help you build confidence, timing, and body awareness first.

Partnerwork concepts are introduced in an accessible way so you’re prepared when dancing with others — without needing a partner at home.

Learning without a partner at first is often an advantage.

Solo practice helps you:

  • Understand your own movement

  • Build balance and control

  • Improve timing independently

  • Feel more confident when partner work is introduced later

Partner dancing becomes easier when your foundation is strong.

How is this different from random dance videos on YouTube or social media?

LDA is built for dancers who want structure, progression, and real skill development.

Training is organized intentionally so concepts build on one another, helping you understand why you’re moving, how to listen to the music, and how to develop your own style over time. This is about consistency, not content overload.

Is this more about performance or social dancing?

LDA focuses on real-world social dancing — confidence, musicality, connection, and movement that feels natural on the dance floor. While styling and technique are included, the goal is to help you feel comfortable, expressive, and grounded.

How much time should I expect to dedicate each week?

Inner Circle is designed to fit into real life. Weekly live classes provide structure, while on-demand courses allow you to train at a pace that works for your schedule. 2 hours a week is the average time we recommend setting aside.

What kind of commitment does this program expect?

LDA is best for dancers who are ready to practice consistently, even if that means just a few focused sessions per week.

You don’t need to be perfect or train every day — but you should be excited to learn, willing to put in the work, and open to growth. This platform is designed for progress, versus passive watching.

Can I join from outside the US?

Yes! Our program is fully online and welcomes members from around the world.

How do live coaching sessions work within the Inner Circle Program?

Live sessions are held weekly via video link. You’ll get to ask questions, and interact with instructors and peers.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. The monthly subscription can be canceled at any time. Once canceled, access ends at the conclusion of your billing cycle, and the Founding Member rate is not guaranteed if you choose to return.

What makes Inner Circle different from just taking classes online?

Inner Circle combines live instruction, structured learning, and community support, creating a guided experience rather than isolated training.

What happens after the 3 month period of Inner Circle training ends?

After the 3-month Inner Circle program ends, you’ll continue to have access to all recorded live classes from the program through December 31, 2026.

While live Inner Circle sessions and the private cohort community conclude after the program, you’ll transition into the LDA Collective—our broader online community—where you can continue learning, practicing, and connecting.

You’ll also retain full access to all LDA Online courses through the end of 2026, so you can keep training at your own pace and revisit material anytime.
